Highland Park Community Foundation
The Highland Park Community Foundation (HPCF) supports organizations and programs that address the unmet needs of our community and expand opportunities for all Highland Park and Highwood residents. Our funds serve to nurture children, strengthen families, assist older adults, support individuals with disabilities, develop leadership skills and academic confidence in teens, enhance artistic experiences, and more.

After the mass shooting at the Highland Park parade, the HPCF established a Highland Park Shooting Response Fund to help families of the victims who were killed, victims who were physically injured, and nonprofit organizations serving needs of victims and the community following the shooting. Those funds have been distributed.

Highland Park Shooting Recovery Fund, began accepting donations on October 8, 2022 that will be used to address continuing needs of victims for mental health and other services resulting from the shooting. The Highland Park Community Foundation is administering the Fund and will distribute the donations as grants to organizations that are addressing ongoing needs of victims and community members.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from near and far to help us with our efforts.

This remains a very difficult time for everyone, but knowing people care brings comfort and really does make a difference. Thank you for your support!
