2025 North Shore Classic Fundraiser
Event Fundraiser: 2025 North Shore Classic
A horrific shooting took place in Highland Park, IL, on July 4, 2022, which resulted in the death of 7 and physical injury to over 40 individuals. Immediately after, Highland Park Community Foundation (HPCF) opened a victims fund, which it closed on October 7th in order to distribute 100% of the funds donated – $5.8 million – to help families of those who were killed, victims who were physically insured, and nonprofit organizations serving the needs of victims and the community that stemmed from the shooting.
On October 8, 2022, HPCF began to accept donations for distribution as grants to nonprofits so they could address continuing needs of victims and community members for mental health and other services resulting from the shooting.
The need for these services still exists, and HPCF is committed to addressing them. We greatly appreciate your support, which will enhance our efforts to do so.
