2026 University of Louisville 10 Mile®

Let's get down and derby! The Louisville Triple Crown of Running presented by Courier Journal is returning to Kentucky. Come and run in the trio of races that the local running community has come to love for nearly 40 years!  The series kicks off with our Whiskey Row 5K on March 7th, followed by Derby City 10K on March 21st, and concludes with the Louisville 10 Mile on April 4th!

Race Day (15k): Saturday, April 1st
As a start line volunteer you will work with our start line staff with opening & organizing the corrals. Each race participant is assigned a corral – once the corrals open you will be directing participants to the correct corral. When the race starts the first corrals will start – other corrals will move closer to the start line. Additional corrals will be released every 2-3 minutes until all corrals have started the race.
Celebrate and congratulate thousands of runners as they cross the Finish Line Triple Crown of Running 15k! Volunteers will distribute a variety of different items including sports drinks and water in the runner refreshment area. Help refuel our participants before they head to the Post Race Party to celebrate!
Feel the energy out on the course! Volunteers will be stationed at various locations along the 15k (3.1 miles) course to ensure the safety of participants and spectators. Cheering and enthusiasm are strongly encouraged to motivate participants and increase the fun! *Individuals should be at least 18 years old.
