2025 Will Run For Beer Chicago

Raise a glass! The 3rd Annual Will Run for Beer Chicago 5K is returning to Lincoln Park on October 25, 2025! Experience a brewtiful, flat 5K course as you enjoy a local tour of the Chicago Lakefront and skyline by foot. Celebrate crossing the finish line with complimentary beer (21+) and delicious food at the lager than life post-race Brewfest! PLUS, you'll get some beertastic race swag to commemorate your achievement in style.

Don't want to run? You can still join in the fun by purchasing a Brewfest ticket! Enjoy food, music and beer tastings from local breweries without the 5K. Brewfest tickets will be available on event day, but door price will be $35. 

Packet Pick Up - Friday October 25th - 10:15am-3:45pm

Packet pick up is broken up into a few areas including bib assignment, swag distribution, merchandise and more. Volunteer placement will be assigned upon check-in at your shift.

Race Day - October 25th - Varying Times (approx 1pm-6pm)

As an aid station volunteer you will be passing out water & sports drink on the course to race participants.

Course Marshals are instrumental in helping to ensure participant safety and direction helping to guide runners in the right direction at turns and crossings.

As a bike marshal, you will be leading a corral of race participants through the course, on your own bike. *Must provide your own bike* After riding your corral through to the finish line either ride the course backwards or meet up with the last runners to ensure everyone is staying on course and safe.

Start and Finish line volunteers help ensure an orderly start of the race and then transition to providing runners with post race hydration and direction throug the finish chute.

Brewfest volunteers assist in various roles to provide a quality experience. Volunteers may assist with pouring beer, minimizing lines, and monitoring the overall participant experience. Must be 21 years old or over.

Catering volunteers will help in the packaging and distribution of food items to participants providing a safe and quality experience.
