Matrix Parent Network and Resource Center is a nonprofit organization providing free services to families of children with special needs. Their mission is to empower families of children with special needs to successfully understand and access the systems that serve them. Matrix offers person-to-person consultations, workshops, trainings, support groups, a resource library, information packets, and more!

Matrix Mighty Milers is an inclusive running program for children of all ages and abilities. The Mighty Milers training includes a virtual self-paced training program for The Santa Rosa Marathon 5K race. Some of the children on the team do not have special needs. The experience of belonging created during the training builds confidence in all of the runners. It is especially empowering for those who have special needs.
