I am so excited to be running my first half marathon with team make-a-wish. My son was born with 5 heart defects and has gone through 4 open heart surgeries by the time he was 5. He was fortunate enough to be a make-a-wish recipient in 2019. It was a dream come true. Running this marathon helps me give back to an amazing organization who helped my family get through the darkest time of our lives. I'm running for make-a-wish and all the kids like my son.
