2025 North Shore Turkey Trot Fundraiser

Event Fundraiser: 2025 North Shore Turkey Trot
For 33 years, the Highland Park Community Foundation (HPCF) has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Highland Park and Highwood. Through its Annual Grants, HPCF supports vital programs and services that nurture children, strengthen families, assist seniors, empower individuals with disabilities, foster leadership and academic growth in teens, enrich artistic experiences, and more. These grants address immediate community needs while also expanding opportunities for all residents.
In addition to its Annual Grants, HPCF responds to urgent and unforeseen challenges. Following the tragic shooting in Highland Park in July of 2022, HPCF established the Highland Park Shooting Response and Recovery Funds to support both the victims and nonprofit organizations aiding the impacted community. Similarly, in 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, HPCF launched the COVID-19 Emergency Response Appeal to address the immediate needs of residents during this unprecedented crisis.
Individuals' donations make all the difference in helping HPCF meet evolving needs and ensure that vital programs and services are available to those who need them most. To learn more, visit hpcfil.org or make a donation now. We greatly appreciate your support!Â

After the mass shooting at the Highland Park parade, the HPCF established a Highland Park Shooting Response Fund to help families of the victims who were killed, victims who were physically injured, and nonprofit organizations serving needs of victims and the community following the shooting. Those funds have been distributed.
Highland Park Shooting Recovery Fund, began accepting donations on October 8, 2022 that will be used to address continuing needs of victims for mental health and other services resulting from the shooting. The Highland Park Community Foundation is administering the Fund and will distribute the donations as grants to organizations that are addressing ongoing needs of victims and community members.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from near and far to help us with our efforts.Â
This remains a very difficult time for everyone, but knowing people care brings comfort and really does make a difference. Thank you for your support!
